  37. I'm the debian kermit maintainer, but I'm afraid I don't have much
  38. of a clue about this.  The debian kermit sources are stock kermit
  39. sources except for the addition of some debian-specific files (debian.*)
  40. which don't impact non-debian compilation and the addition of a debian
  41. target in debian.makefile.

  43. I use kermit regularly on my debian linux system with the 1.2.13 kernel,
  44. and my modem is on /dev/cua1.
